A different life

Some of the names included in our family history are Burrows, Cole, Collins, Fanning, Fisk, Forbes, Lush, Meehan, McGillivray.


My paternal grandmother, born Annie Forbes Fisk, comes from a rather large collection of convicts including some from the First & Second Fleets also the First Victorian settlement at Sorento. Convict names include Elizabeth Cole, Cornelius Richard Burrows, Sylvester Lush, James Tucker, William Gay, Robert Coad.

    Hi Bird, which John Fisk is this, do you know? I'm descended from all three through Elizabeth Cole -> Ann Burrows -> Sarah Lush m John Fisk -> John Fisk-> John Fisk -> Gertrude Fisk -> Ellen Johnstone -> Warwick Hewson -> me :-) I was wondering if it was John Fisk married to Clara Tanner, my great-great-grandparents.     Hi Rachael,
    As far as I know the photo of John is John Richard 1875 - 1924, son of William Job Fisk. I could be wrong, it was sent to me a few years ago. I am descended through John Fisk & Sarah Lush > William Job Fisk & Margory McGillivray > Annie Forbes Fisk & James Patrick Meehan > Leonard Aidan Meehan & Eileen Mary Fanning > then me.
